1. What is an optional insurance product?
Answer:
An optional insurance product is an insurance or insurance-related product offered through AHMSI Insurance Agency, Inc. AHMSI Insurance Agency, Inc. is a subsidiary of American Home Mortgage Servicing, Inc (AHMSI). AHMSI borrowers can voluntarily sign up for these valuable products.
2. How do I learn more about the optional insurance products that are available?

You can call our Customer Contact Center toll-free at 1.877.304.3100 or you may contact the insurance company directly.
3. If I enroll in an optional insurance product, how are premiums collected?
Answer:
If you enroll in one of the optional insurance products, the premiums can be conveniently collected along with your monthly mortgage payment. Or you may pay for the premiums directly to the insurance company. (Please note that your loan must be current in order to collect the premium along with your monthly mortgage payment.)
4. What happens to my optional insurance product if my loan is paid-in-full or transferred to another servicer?

5. How do I cancel my optional insurance product?
Answer:
There are two ways to cancel your optional insurance product. 1) Contact the insurance company directly. They will submit the cancellation to AHMSI within 30 days. If you experience difficulties cancelling your optional insurance product, contact our Customer Contact Center toll-free at 1.877.304.3100. 2) Send a written cancellation request to AHMSI. Be sure to include your loan number, optional insurance product you would like to cancel, and signature. It may take up to 10 business days to process your request after it’s received. You may mail your request to: American Home Mortgage Servicing, Inc, Attn:Correspondence, P.O. Box 631730, Irving, TX 75063-1730.
6. Who should I notify if I need to file a claim for benefits, change my beneficiary, etc?
Answer:
Please contact the insurance company directly and they will be able to assist you.
7. Who should I contact if I have a complaint or concern regarding my optional insurance product?
Answer:
If you have a complaint or concern regarding the services of the optional product, please contact the insurance company directly and they will be able to assist you. If you have a complaint or concern regarding the billing, enrollment, etc. of the optional insurance product, please contact our Customer Contact Center at 1.877.304.3100.
8. How do I opt out from getting mail or telephone calls on these optional insurance products?
Answer:
